Day 41: Mon 20 Jun - Margaret River, 12-16deg, showers

With all the wild weather over in the East, we're glad about being on the West Coast at the moment. However we don't miss out altogether; it's showers and drizzle for us today. So after a hot brekky and with the pitter-patter of rain on the roof Wendy decided to work. Well that takes care of Wendy's day; what can Greg do to keep himself out of mischief?
First up he went for a walk around town, which is only 1.7km from the van park. A rather pleasant town where the emphasis does seem to be well and truly on eating and drinking. On the way back he just happened to walk past a very nice bakery. We ended up sharing a tasty handmade meat pie over a coffee at the van.

Leaving Wendy to continue working Greg went and did some grocery shopping at the local Woolies. Shopping and lunch out of the way and a marked improvement in the weather, Greg took a ride out to Prevelly Beach, which turned out to be impressive but a little windy and understandably deserted. The bike path to get there was excellent and completely off-the-road. 26km round trip, with no rain; bonus!!

Dinner was a very delicious Thai meal at Thai Tamarind.
